Give each sample an identity.
Create a physical sample record, link the SKU and record its condition. Two garments with the same SKU still need separate sample identities.

FOR THE WORK BETWEEN SHOTS
A practical guide to keeping physical samples, required views and final files in step — from the first intake to the last return.

THE STUDIO ROUTINE
Create a physical sample record, link the SKU and record its condition. Two garments with the same SKU still need separate sample identities.
SAMPLES → INTAKE
Set the required views in the brief. Assign an explicit hero frame and attach the original final file. A reference photo or an accepted label alone does not complete a final.
COVERAGE → QA → FINAL FILES
Review release checks and prepare your client dossier. Track custody, return and condition separately so a completed delivery never conceals an outstanding sample.
PREFLIGHT → EXPORT → RETURNS
THE RULE WORTH REMEMBERING
Final originals, required views, QA and the current brief must agree. When a brief changes, review the affected requirements again. A waiver should always include its reason and rule revision.
